Nice to meet you!

Hi, my name is Scipio Bergkamp, a human movement scientist with a passion for running, that loves to inspire others to reach their goals.

Whilst studying, I stopped regular exercise and got out of shape. After graduating from university, I wanted to pursue a long standing dream of mine: run a marathon. The 3rd of November 2024 it was time to line up. After 3 hours 5 minutes and 19 seconds, I knew I was hooked. Afterwards I ran two more in Barcelona and Berlin.  Family and friends turned to me for advice on how to reach their goals, which is where the idea for SCIPIO came from.

Currently I am chasing that mythical BQ in Hamburg on the 26th of April 2026. In the future I would love to become an Ironman. That is why you will find me running, swimming, and cycling through life.

After graduating from Maastricht University with a bachelor in Medicine, I found my passion for running. I  chased my dream to become your running coach and finished my master in Human Movement Sciences.
